How to play

Tap a card to flip it, then tap a second card. A matching pair stays face up; two different cards turn back over. Find all eight pairs in as few turns as possible.

How is Pairs scored?

A perfect game takes eight turns and scores 100. Each extra turn costs 5 points, down to 20, so you always finish with a score. Everyone gets the same cards in the same places each day.

Is Pairs free to play?

Yes. Pairs is free in any modern browser, with no download and no account needed. An optional account keeps your progress across devices.

When is there a new Pairs puzzle?

A new daily challenge starts at midnight UTC and everyone gets the same one. Practice mode has extra rounds whenever you want more.
