Color Match
Color Match is a free daily color memory game. Dial in the true color of a banana, an egg yolk or a stop sign and see how close your eye really is.
Five everyday things, each with one part left to color. Drag the hue, saturation and brightness bars until the banana peel, the watermelon or the egg yolk looks exactly right, then see how close your color memory is.
How to play
Drag the three bars: hue, saturation and brightness. The marked part of the picture takes your color as you move them. Lock it in when it looks right. Each object scores up to 10 points, for 50 in total. Two hints per game show where the right hue sits.
Frequently asked questions
How is the color difference measured?
Scores use the CIEDE2000 color difference, which measures how different two colors look to the human eye. A hint caps that object at 8 points. Everyone gets the same five objects each day; practice picks new ones.
Is Color Match free to play?
Yes. Color Match is free in any modern browser, with no download and no account needed. An optional account keeps your progress across devices.
When is there a new Color Match puzzle?
A new daily challenge starts at midnight UTC and everyone gets the same one. Practice mode has extra rounds whenever you want more.
Can I play past Color Match puzzles?
Yes. The Color Match archive lists every past daily puzzle by month. Archive games are practice: they don’t earn coins or count for leaderboards.
